#1 Part 1: The Long Wait
There was a little seed. It was deep in the dark, dark ground. It was quiet in the dark ground. The little seed waited. The sun made the ground warm. The little seed waited. The rain made the ground wet. The little seed waited. It waited and waited for a long, long time.
#2 Part 2: The Big Push
Then, the little seed started to grow. A little root went down, down, down. A little sprout went up, up, up. It was hard work. The little seed had to push. It pushed past the small stones. It pushed past the dark dirt. Push, push, push. It was very, very hard, but the little seed did not stop.
#3 Part 3: The Bright Flower
At last, the little sprout saw the sun! Hello, sun! The sprout grew green leaves. Then it grew a small bud. The bud opened slowly, slowly. It became a big, beautiful flower. All the waiting and all the pushing made a beautiful flower. The little seed was very, very happy.
