#1 Part 1: Gus the Grumpy Cloud
High up in the big blue sky, there was a cloud. His name was Gus. Gus was a grumpy cloud. He was a grey, grumpy cloud. The other clouds were white and happy. The white clouds played in the sun. Gus did not play. Gus did not like the sun. Gus was a grumpy cloud. He floated alone. He said, 'I am a sad cloud. I am a grey cloud.' Then, Gus started to cry a little. Drip, drop, drip. His tears were little raindrops.
#2 Part 2: The Thirsty Flower
Gus the grumpy cloud floated over a big green field. Drip, drop, drip. In the field, there were many little flowers. The flowers were very thirsty. A little yellow flower looked up. She saw Gus. 'Hello, cloud!' she said. Gus was surprised. 'Hello, flower,' he said in a grumpy voice. 'Your raindrops feel so good,' said the little flower. 'They help me drink. Can you rain a little more, please?' Gus looked at the little yellow flower. 'My sad rain helps you?' he asked.
#3 Part 3: A Happy Rainbow
Gus looked at all the thirsty flowers. They all looked up at him. So Gus let his raindrops fall. Drip, drop, drip, drop. A gentle rain fell on the field. The little yellow flower smiled. All the flowers smiled. They drank the cool rain. They looked bright and happy. Seeing the happy flowers made Gus feel warm inside. A small part of his grey cloud turned white and fluffy. Then, the sun peeked out. The sun made a beautiful rainbow in his rain. Gus saw the happy flowers and the beautiful rainbow. Gus the cloud was not grumpy anymore. He learned that even his sad rain could bring happiness.
