#1 Barnaby's Bad Day

Barnaby the bear woke up with a grumpy face. The sun was too bright, his honey tasted funny, and his favorite toy was missing! He stomped his feet and growled. "I'm ANGRY!" he roared. Mama Bear hugged him tight. "It's okay to be angry, Barnaby. But let's talk about why you're feeling this way."

#2 A Lost Toy and a Sad Heart

Barnaby told Mama Bear about his missing toy. She helped him look everywhere. After searching, they found it under a pile of leaves! But Barnaby still felt a little down. "Now I'm just SAD," he sighed. "I thought I'd lost it forever!" Mama Bear explained, "Feeling sad is like a rainy day. It's okay to feel it, and it won't last forever."

#3 Surprise Picnic!

Suddenly, Papa Bear called, "Surprise! A picnic by the river!" Barnaby's eyes lit up. He bounced with excitement. "I'm SO HAPPY!" he shouted. He loved picnics. They played games, ate yummy berries, and laughed a lot. Mama and Papa Bear showed him that happiness can come after sadness, like sunshine after rain.

#4 A Scary Shadow

As the sun began to set, a big shadow appeared behind a tree. Barnaby gasped and hid behind Mama Bear. "I'm SCARED!" he whispered. Papa Bear chuckled and walked towards the shadow. It was just a big, friendly owl! Papa Bear explained, "Sometimes things seem scary, but it's important to be brave and see what they really are."

#5 Understanding Feelings

That night, snuggled in his bed, Barnaby realized he had felt many different emotions in one day. He felt angry, sad, happy, and scared. Mama Bear kissed him goodnight. "It's okay to feel all sorts of emotions, Barnaby. The important thing is to understand them and talk about them. And always remember, we love you, no matter how you feel."
