One sunny morning, Leo the Lizard woke up and stretched. But something was very wrong. His bright green skin was a dull gray! He looked outside. The yellow sun was gray, the blue sky was gray, and the red flowers were all a sleepy, boring gray.

Leo scurried down the tree and found his friend, Bella the Butterfly. Her beautiful orange and purple wings were now just dusty gray shapes. 'Bella, what happened?' Leo asked. 'I don't know!' she cried. 'All the wonderful colors have disappeared from the world!'

They looked up and saw a giant, grumpy cloud covering everything. It wasn't a normal rain cloud; it looked incredibly sad and was hoarding all the colors inside its puffy cheeks. 'I think that grumpy cloud took the colors because it's lonely,' whispered Bella.

Leo had a brilliant idea! He started telling the cloud the funniest joke he knew. Bella flew around it, tickling it with her wings and singing a happy song. Slowly, the cloud's frown turned upside down, and it let out a rumbling giggle!

With a happy rumble, the cloud released all the colors in a magnificent rainbow! Red splashed onto the roses, blue filled the sky, yellow beamed from the sun, and Leo's skin turned a brilliant green again. The world was more vibrant and beautiful than ever before!
